Glossary of Poker Terms

All in
Usually if a player is willing to call but doesn't have enough credit to match the opponent's bet, he's allowed to go "All in" by increasing his bet by the remaining amount of his credit.
In no-limit poker, a player can also go "All in" instead of bet or raise.

Ante
Initial mandatory bet in which all players put an equal amount of money into the pot before the dealing begins. Typically used in poker variants where pre-flop isn't dealt.
